Patrick W. Brooks, Esq. serves as the managing attorney for Student Legal Services at West Virginia University

A native of West Virginia, Patrick received a B.A. in Political Science from West Virginia University in 2007 followed by a JD from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2010. Prior to joining WVU, Patrick worked in a variety of legal fields - most notably serving at Legal Aid of WV, the 10th Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office, and as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Raleigh County, WV.

Outside of work, Patrick volunteers with a variety of nonprofits, loves to cook and bake, and is an avid hiker, kayaker, and all-around outdoor enthusiast.
